The CAT Gamepasses Ranked
Bypass Team Limit first, combat passes second, unpublished perks never invented.
Robux does not buy a third team in The CAT. It buys queue access, extra HP, extra guns, a Director switch, and cosmetics. This list ranks impact on a live 26-player round, not how loud the store icon is. Pair it with the players hub so you know which side a pass serves, the caretaker guide for security play, and the feral city guide for what Boss Mafia Cat actually unlocks after you leave.
Unpublished listings are named and then left alone. This wiki will not invent perks for Premium or El Gato.
S — Bypass Team Limit (79 R$)
The CAT caps teams. The side you wanted is often the short side. Bypass Team Limit is the quality-of-life S pick because it lets you join that short team instead of sitting in the lobby or playing a role you did not queue for.
It does not stun cats. It does not add HP. It wins the round before spawn by putting you in the game you meant to play. If you only ever buy one pass, and you care about actually being a cat when cats are full, this is the one. Combat whales who skip it still get stuck as the wrong side and then complain the list is wrong.
S / A — Combat pay-to-win: Surgeon, SWAT, Mafia
Three passes change fights on published numbers:
- Elite Cat Surgeon — 299 R$. Tranquilizer and +150 HP. Security-side monster in a doorway.
- Elite SWAT — 249 R$. Shield listed at 200 HP, M4A1, +40% HP. The rifle-and-shield package.
- Boss Mafia Cat — 299 R$. Permanent Golden AK at the feral cats base, mafia riot shield, mafioso armour that gives +60 HP.
These are pay-to-win combat. Say it plainly. A free caretaker with a taser can still jail cats, but a Surgeon or SWAT user wins the messy 1v1s that decide a camped sewer. Mafia is the feral-side combat pass: you need to reach the city and the base before the Golden AK matters, which is why it is also a feral city purchase, not a spawn-in rifle.
If you are deciding among the three: buy SWAT or Surgeon if you main security, Mafia if you already escape often and want the city gun. Do not buy all three hoping the HP stacks into a new game. Play one combat identity.
A — Director (549 R$)
Director is lobby control. The published perk is that it grants weapons to vets. That is not a personal aimbot. That is a server modifier. One Director can turn a casual shelter into a rifle range for the security side.
Rank it A rather than S for a solo player because the value is political. If you like running the round, it is the most expensive way to do so. If you just wanted to join the cat team, Bypass is cheaper and more honest. If you hate being farmed by granted guns, you will feel Director even when you do not own it.
A — Rainbow Leash (25 R$)
Rainbow Leash is the cheap arrest multiplier: 25 R$, arrest 2x. For a caretaker who already understands the taser loop, this is the most Robux-efficient combat-adjacent buy on the board. It does not replace Bypass. It does not replace a rifle. It makes the scoring action — the arrest — faster to stack.
New players should still learn a single arrest first. Doubling a fumbled cuff is not a strategy.
B — Private Jail (399 R$)
Private Jail is a real 399 R$ listing. This page does not invent what the private cell does beyond the name. Until Ikigai Cybercore Studios publishes a perk block as clear as Mafia’s Golden AK list, treat it as a B-cost specialty: expensive, situational, not required to recapture cats. If you do not know why you need a private jail, you do not need this pass.
C — CAT HAT (259 R$) and other cosmetics
CAT HAT is cosmetic. Hats do not open sewers, do not stun, and do not bypass the team cap. Buy it if you want the look. Do not buy it because a ranking video called it “aura.” On an impact list it is C.
If other purely visual items appear in the store, they share this letter.
Not ranked — Premium (399 R$) and El Gato (549 R$)
Both are unpublished. Unpublished means this wiki will not guess HP, guns, morphs, or lobby powers. They exist as price tags. They do not exist as a perk table here. If a patch publishes them, the letter will follow the published text, not influencer speculation.
What to buy in order
- Nothing, until you have escaped once and arrested once.
- Bypass Team Limit if the short team is the one you main.
- Rainbow Leash if you main arrests and want a cheap multiplier.
- One combat pass: SWAT or Surgeon for security, Mafia for ferals.
- Director only if you want to grant guns, not if you wanted a personal rifle.
- Hats last. Unpublished never.
Role pages on the players hub explain which loop you are paying for. The caretaker guide is the security half. The feral city guide is the Mafia half. Weapons that these passes add are ranked on the weapons list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for The CAT on Roblox.
What is the first gamepass worth buying in The CAT?
Bypass Team Limit at 79 R$ if the side you want is full. It is quality-of-life S. Combat passes wait until you can play the role without them.
Are Elite SWAT and Elite Cat Surgeon pay-to-win?
Yes, in fights. SWAT publishes a 200 HP shield, M4A1, and +40% HP. Surgeon publishes a tranquilizer and +150 HP.
What does Boss Mafia Cat actually give?
Published perks: Golden AK at the feral cats base, a mafia riot shield, and +60 HP armour. It matters after you escape, which is why it ties to feral city.
Should I buy Premium or El Gato?
Not on this wiki's advice. Both are unpublished. We do not invent perks. Wait for an official description.
Is CAT HAT worth 259 R$?
Only as a cosmetic. It does not change arrests, team caps, or escape routes.
Does Director give me a personal gun?
Director is listed as granting weapons to vets. That is lobby control, not a silent solo rifle. Read it as a server modifier.
